Alice M. (Graves) Weir

Alice M. Weir, 85 of Dresser, passed away at 11:43 PM on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus.  She was born in Terre Haute on November 30, 1934 to Joseph Graves and Anna Gard Graves.

Alice is survived by three children; George Weir (Carol), Raymond Weir (Karen), and Geneva Weir.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Candi Stewart (Kevin), Stacy Ockerman (Shawn), George Weir (Ashley), Alice Rader (Shaun), Raelynn Robbins (Larry), Carol Jo Witty (David), Johnnie Bedwell (Austin), Dana Stapp (Samantha), Cody Weir (Marin).  She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law; Catherine Gard and Jean Graves, as well as nineteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Weir in September of 1998, daughter Tracey Weir, grandson Travis Weir, great grandson Travis Weir, two brothers; Clarence Graves and Bill Gard, as well as two sisters; Lois Graves and Shirley Jeffrey.

Funeal services for Alice will be held at Fitpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, January 9, 2020, with Pastor David Lowe officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
