Angeline L. Chambers, 88, of Terre Haute passed away at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday March 30, 2016 in Signature Health Care in Terre Haute. She retired from the Sisters Of Providence at St. Mary Of The Woods after twenty years of service. She was born March 3, 1928 in Paris, IL to William A. Bishop and Ruth Davidson Bishop. Her Husband, Jack Chambers, preceded her in death on December 26, 1982. She was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law Suzan and Steve Harris; an infant son David M. Chambers; and a grandson Billy Born. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Tom Born of Terre Haute; three grandchildren David Born, Samantha Perry-Frazier, and Lucas Umphries; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church at Terre Haute. She loved reading her Bible and other religious material. She was a hard worker. She also loved her family, traveling, gardening and playing the piano. Mass Of Christian Burial will be 12:00 noon Wednesday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church.
