Barbara Jo Bryan Ramsey

Barbara Jo Bryan Ramsey, 84 of West Terre Haute, Passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Southwood Healthcare. She was born in Vigo County on August 2, 1939 to Hubert Bryan and Josephine Lena Gilbert Bryan.

Barbara was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, VFW Post # 6574 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post # 501 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing euchre making wedding cakes for her nieces and nephews' weddings, and volunteering at the food pantry in West Terre Haute.

Barbara is survived by two children, Rick Ramsey (Alice) and Jennifer Ramsey, her grandchildren; Megan Iliff (Nate), Brandi Eason (Zach), and Carley Lee (Matt), and great grandchildren; Ella Eason, Allie Eason, Julian Lee, and Nora Lee. She is also survived by her siblings; William Bryan (Barbara), Mike Bryan (Sue), and Susie Wineinger (Bill), sister-in-law Judy Ramsey Caveney as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband DuWayne E. Ramsey, her son Scott Ramsey, brothers Ronnie Bryan and Chris Bryan, and sister Cindy Gonzalez.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM , with Pastor Steve Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
