Bessie M. Fagg

Bessie M. Fagg, 70 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born in Terre Haute on July 23, 1954 to Ebb Howard and Violet Edmondson Howard.

Bessie was a member of Highland Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and playing games with her family.

Bessie is survived by her children; Roy A. Fagg, Jr., Skylar Fagg, Dustin Fagg, Eric Fagg, and Eden Fagg, her grandchildren; Xylia Harla Burns, Lauren Heckelsmiller, and Kerstan Heckelsmiller, and special son Jerome Potter (Genese). She is also survived by two brothers; Ray Howard (Edna) and Ebb Howard, a special sister, Tamara Fagg, special nieces and nephews; Dawn Wallace (Ronnie), Shane Rose, Jr. (Kim), Thomas Booker (Shannon), Charles Howard (Rita), and Pebbles Custer as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy A. Fagg, Sr., daughter Connie Fagg, her brothers Jack Howard, Donnie Howard, and Charles Howard, and two sisters Debbie Todd and Sharon Stanford.

Funeral services will be held at Highland Church, 2400 Silvan Road, West Terre Haute, IN 47885, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Ryan Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, in her memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
