Betty Lou Elder

Betty Lou Elder, 95, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in her residence with her family by her side. She was born October 6, 1921 in West Terre Haute, IN., to John Virgil Fuller and Myrtle A. Williams Fuller. Betty was a devout Christian and read her bible daily. She had been a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Farmersburg, IN. for many years. Survivors include a son Jack Elder and his wife Delores of Brazil, IN, and a daughter Kathy Hudak of Terre Haute, IN., many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special niece Judy Calvert of Terre Haute, IN., She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Peter Elder, a son, Pete Alan Elder, sisters, Colleen Burns and June Steadman, a brother Jack Fuller. According to Betty's wishes cremation was chosen and a family graveside service will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park at a later date. Care and arrangements were entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
