Betty Jean (Mopps) Martin

Betty Jean Martin, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away January 9, 2020 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1937 in Terre Haute to Eugene Mopps and Dorothy Walters Mopps.

Betty was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She was an EMT for the West Terre Haute Fire Department. She enjoyed bowling and the Indiana Pacers. Betty was a huge Larry Bird fan.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and her her husband, Huber Martin.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth Keyes (Steve) and Theresa Martin Krantz (Shawn); her grandchildren, Tony Martin, Ryan Keyes (Kristy), Scott Keyes and Andrew Martin; and her great grandchildren, Carter Keyes and Noah Keyes.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time. Rev.
