Betty Jean (Fox) Medsker

Betty Jean Medsker, 91 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Signature Healthcare.  She was born in Clark County, IL on September 28, 1931 to Homer Fox and Lola Reynolds Fox.

Betty was a retired nurse from Union Hospital, and had previously worked at Columbia House as well as being a private caregiver for many years.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Paris, IL and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and quilting.

Betty is survived by her daughter Janet Brewster (Rick), and grandchildren; Bill Parker(Aimee), Den Parker(Jenena), Bryan Parker (Robin), Jason Parker, Richard Brewster (Lisa), and John Brewster (Deborah), as well 14 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters, Rose Hamblen Haines and June Reed.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Whitford, and two sisters, Barbara Waller and Reba Peters.

Graveside services will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Daniel Smith officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
