Billie Lou (Conley) Lovell

Billie Lou Lovell, 77 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 in IU Health Hospital in Bloomington, IN.  She was born in Vermillion County on December 29, 1944 to William Conley and Hazel Haskett Conley.

Billie retired from the housekeeping department at St. Mary of The Woods after 40 plus years of service.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed watching her Hallmark movies.  She loved shopping and going out to eat and was a huge Tim McGraw fan.

Billie is survived by two sons, Donald Lovell (Tanna), and William Ralph Lovell, as well as six grandchildren; Amy Fagin, Jeremy Lovell (Kara), Ashley Brown (Dustin), Ralphy Lovell (Cassondra), Patricia Wheeler (Ty), and Danielle Lovell, as well as twelve great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings; James Conley, Sue Sharp, Rosa Conley, Russell Conley, William Conley, Jr., and Richard Conley, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Farris Lovell, Sr. in 2001, daughter Linda Lovell in 1965, son Farris “Huck” Lovell, Jr. in 2022, and a sister, Ollie “Punkin” Pitts.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
