Billy Arthur Hale

Billy Arthur Hale, 84, of West Terre Haute, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at 7:25 a.m. in Harrison’s Crossing.

He was born August 10, 1936 in New Goshen, Indiana to Arthur B. Hale and Mary Irene Edington Hale.

Billy was an operator at Bemis for 30 years. He also farmed and worked at Green Valley Coal. He enjoyed gardening and giving his produce to friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and boating.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carole Margaret Kelley Hale.

Billy is survived by his daughter Pamela I. Kashon and husband Phil; sons Billy M. Hale and wife Rebecca, Richard L. Hale and wife Laura; Brothers; Robert Hale and Dale Hale; grandchildren, Phil Kashon, Jr., Heather Peperak, Richard Hale, Jr., Christopher Hale, Jennifer Hale and Eric Hale; his great grandchildren, Melanie Kashon, Hayden Kashon, Raelynn Peperak, Emmerson Peperak, Jones Berger, Rocio Hale-Saavedra, Evelyn Hale, Liam Hale, Annmarie Hale and Alliemae Hale.

Services will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home 220 N 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
