Bobbie Yvette Johnston

Bobbie Yvette Johnston, 54, of West Union, IL formerly of West Terre Haute passed away at 11:19 p.m. Friday November 23, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Lawrenceville, IL. She was born April 12, 1964 in Terre Haute to Robert Johnston and Jacqueline Frey Johnston.

Bobbie was the embodiment of faith, hope, and love: she had a strong faith in Jesus, always had hope in her children, and loved everyone she met. Even so, Bobbie overly-loved her family. She was a proud maw-maw who adored her grandchildren and was a gift giver to a fault. Bobbie was known to be good with her hands and had a wild imagination that could create from nothing.

She is survived by her companion Jerry Shreve; her children Casey Lore and his wife Caitlin of Lincoln, IL, Abigail Gibson and her husband Ricky of Marshall, IL, Lennon Lore and his wife Amy of Indianapolis, IN, and Eric Townsend and his wife Jackie of Yuma, AZ; six grandchildren Ricky Gibson III, Axel Gibson, Rowan Gibson, Andrew Lore, Augustus Lore, and Jackson Townsend; her mother Jacqueline “Jackie” Johnston; three sisters Angie Clark, Kay Baysinger, and Danielle Richmond and her husband Bob; a brother Steve Johnston and his wife Jane; and her former husband Greg Lore. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Johnston, and her husband Kevin Butrum.

A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday November 30, 2018 in the First Southern Baptist Church, 1200 E. Davis Drive; Terre Haute with no formal service to follow.
