Brian Eugene Lee, 48, of West Terre Haute passed away Saturday May 13, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on I70 in West Terre Haute which also took the lives of his son Aaron Lee and his companion Stephanie Swaim. Brian was a press operator for over twenty years at Bemis Corporation in Terre Haute. He was born April 19, 1969 in Terre Haute to William Eugene Lee and Doris E. Farnsworth Lee. Survivors include: two children, his daughter Kiera Davis and her husband Kyle of San Diego, CA; his son Derrick Lee of Kansas; his mother Doris Lee of Terre Haute; two sisters Cindy Mann and her husband Will of Terre Haute and Karen Myers and her husband Martin of West Terre Haute; three brothers Mark Lee and Kevin Lee and his wife Linda all of West Terre Haute and Paul Lee of Terre Haute; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his father Bill Lee; and a brother Kenny Lee. Brian was a member of the Free Life Community Church at Terre Haute and a member of the Union Local 1426. He had a strong Christian faith and loved attending his church and spreading the word of Christ. Always concerned about family, friends, and coworkers, wanting to lead them to the Lord. He was the rock of the family and family was his whole world. He loved spending time with his children and family. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Desert Storm and the Persian Gulf Wars. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Willis and his uncle Pastor Gene Walls officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and 12:00 noon until service time Saturday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "Hope For Brionna" with envelopes available in the funeral home.
