Carolyn Sue (Hodge) Roman

Carolyn Sue Roman, 76 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 2:24 PM on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Union Hospital.  She was born in Bloomington, IN on January 17, 1943 to James Franklin Hodge and Mary Katherine Gardner Hodge.

Carolyn was a member of Eighth Street Wesleyan Church in West Terre Haute.

Carolyn is survived by two daughters; Sara Mendenhall and Ida McGee.  Also surviving are six sisters; Janet Galbreath, Elsie Jones, Joyce Livingston, Wanda Hale, Michelle Roman, and April Russell, and her brother, Larry Hodge.  She also leaves behind four grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Roman in 2011.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 12 Noon, with Pastor David Lowe officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10:00 AM until service at the funeral home.
