Charley Alan "Skeeter" Lowe

Charley Alan “Skeeter” Lowe, 62 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born in Terre Haute on July 28, 1960 to Charles E. Lowe and Karen Jo Orman Lowe.

Charley worked as a service technician at Thompson’s Honda, and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and side-by-sides, playing poker, was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but most importantly, loved his family dearly.

Charley is survived by his wife Pamela Edington Lowe, who he married June 13, 1992, as well as five children; Micheal Collins (Juanita), Joe Jackson, Jason Whitecotton (Shana), Sandy Matheny (Eric), and Damien Lowe, as well as a special granddaughter that he raised, Ronda Witucki (Jacob).  He is also survived by his sister, Robin DisPennett (Tony), several grandchildren and great grandchildren, best friends, Jeanne and Chet, and many poker buddies.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Trish Taylor, and his brother, Danny Lowe.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 6:00 PM, with Scott Myers officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the funeral home.  Cremation will follow services.
