Charlotte K. Beck

Charlotte K. Beck, 78 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in Union Hospital.  She was born in West Terre Haute on January 5, 1946 to Dal Alkire and Melinda Peters Alkire.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Dale A. Beck, Sr., whom she married July 27, 1963 and two sons, Dale A. Beck, Jr. (Valerie) and Darren Beck (Heather), and her grandchildren; Alayna Beck, Brayden Beck (Audra), Elijah Beck, and Kassidy Goodman (Derek), as well as several great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her two brothers, Glenn Alkire and Rev. Kenneth Alkire, as well as her sister, Shirley Stone, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as 8 siblings.

Charlotte retired as a supervisor from Rural King after 20 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM, with her brother, Rev. Kenneth Alkire officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park.   Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
