Cherlyn C. (Stedman) Russell

Cherlyn C. Russell, 72 of Terre Haute and formerly of Rosedale, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2021.  She was born in Terre Haute on September 25, 1949 to Alfred C. Stedman and Martha Jane Barnett Stedman.

Cherlyn enjoyed playing BINGO, camping and fishing, as well as spending time with her grandchildren, and especially loved the holidays.

Cherlyn is survived by her two children; Scott Russell (Beth Russell), and Kimberly Jane Miller, as well as two grandchildren; Nikki Miller and Jack Ditto (Megan Brown), as well as four great grandchildren; Jordan Ditto, Presley Ditto, Aleah Ditto, and Colton Ditto.  She is also survived by two sisters; Loretta Sanders and Judy Pruitt.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Irwin Russell, who passed away on July 2, 2020, a grandson, P.J. Miller, and her brother, Everett Stedman.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Bob Roush officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
