Dalton Scott Richey

Dalton Scott Richey, 26 of New Goshen, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  He was born in Terre Haute on July 9, 1994 to David Richey and Natasha Anderson Richey.

Dalton had a passion for music, and his singing/songwriting abilities were known by many.  He also enjoyed photography and had a wonderful sense of humor.  He had a great love for family and friends, and never met a stranger.

Dalton is survived by his mother and step-father, Natasha and Joe Butcher, his father and step-mother, David and Rhonda Richey, as well as his siblings; Makenna Killebrew, Joseph Butcher, and Kelsey Davis.  Also surviving is and uncle, Shane Bond and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Killebrew.

Memorial services for Dalton will be held at West Side Christian Church, 126 N. 8th St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 6:00 PM.  Friends can visit and share stories with the family on Thursday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the church, with his uncle, Stephen Edington officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dalton Richey Trust Fund, established to help other families who have suffered a sudden and tragic loss.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
