Darlene Gail (Barnett) Eldredge

Darlene Gail Eldredge- loving wife and mother, age 60 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on December 25, 1960 to Sam Barnett and Virginia Chrisman Barnett.

Darlene was a member of the Clark County Sportsman’s Club, where she enjoyed shooting her pistols.  She also enjoyed playing golf, toy trains, going to yard sales, and traveling.  Most importantly, her entire life was devoted to caring for others.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Curt Eldredge, Sr., and three sons; Curtis Eldredge, Jr. (Darletta), Loren Eldredge (Jennifer), and Brandon Eldredge.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Austin Slusher, Cameron Eldredge, Brandon Eldredge, Maddison Eldredge, and Shawn Eldredge, as well as her siblings; Rita Apfel, Margaret Atkinson, Jim Barnett, Sam Barnett, Jr., and Francis Dunkley, Jr., as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as four siblings; Elizabeth Delp, Andrew Barnett, William Dunkley, and Ernest Jones.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
