David Wayne Barnes

David Wayne Barnes, 52 of Terre Haute, passed away at 1:42 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Union Hospital.  He was born in Terre Haute on January 16, 1966 to Jack Harmon and Barbara Barnes Harmon.

David enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

David is survived by two daughters; Sarah Barnes and Marissa Mahin (husband Douglas).  Also surviving are five brothers; Mark Dailey (wife Debra), Jack Harmon (wife Kimberly), Jason Harmon (wife Terri), Randy Ramey (wife Michelle), and Robert Ramey, as well as two sisters; Cathy Cummins (husband Joe), and Rebecca Ramey.  He also leaves behind two grandsons; Camdyn Mahin and Jasper Mahin, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, also by his adoptive parents, Leonard Barnes and Jane Carpenter Barnes Martin, as well as his former wife, Phyllis Barnes, and two brothers; Charles Ramey and Jerry Barnes.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Wendell Kirkman officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
