David Wayne Parks

David Wayne Parks, 61 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 5:00 AM in his residence.  He was born in Terre Haute on March 17, 1958 to John Parks and Esther Hoopingarner Parks.

David was a Union Painter for Painters Local # 197 and was a member of the West Terre Haute First Baptist Church.

David is survived by two sons, Jason Parks (wife Jillian) and Kevin Parks (wife Melanie), and his granddaughter Lily Parks.  He is also survived by his sister, Esther Allen, nephew Michael Allen, niece Cathy Allen, and David’s girlfriend, Janice Travioli.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Augustus officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral Home.
