David Wade Wyrick

DAVID WADE WYRICK (AKA Boatman) passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the age of 56., with his family at his side.  He was born on Friday, the 13th of November, 1964, in Terre Haute to John Wyrick, Sr and Nancy (Wilson) Wyrick.  He graduated from West Vigo High School with the class of 1983.  David then served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.  He was a self employed boat mechanic for many years.

David loved to play pool, and throw darts.  As a teenager he boxed for the Young Men’s Club in West Terre Haute for Don Lark.  David is survived by three sons:  Matthew Wyrick, and his wife Ellie of Indianapolis; Tyler Wyrick of Phoenix, Arizona; and Jonnathan Wyrick of Brazil.  A brother, John Wyrick, Jr., and his wife Lisa of West Terre Haute; a niece, Nikki Wyrick Bowling of London, Kentucky; a step niece, Ashley McGinnis Phelps of Prairie Creek; and many friends.

There will be a graveside service at Prairie Creek Westlawn Cemetery at 3:00pm, Friday, July 9th, 2021.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
