Deborah Kay Blubaum

Deborah Kay Blubaum, aged 66, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on February 3, 2025. She was born on May 10, 1958 to Richard and Rosel Vantrease. She graduated from Indianapolis Northwest High School, then married her husband, Eldon Blubaum in March of 1977. She worked several years at Red Lobster, before deciding to stay home to raise their two adopted sons. Debi loved gardening, cooking, and being outside. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved animals. To Debi, her family was her top priority, often sacrificing her own wants and needs. This is just a testament to her compassion. She leaves behind her 6 children, Eldon, Jr.(Krista), Rosalie(Scott), Brett(Ashley), Todd, Clayton, and Bryce. She leaves several fond memories with her grandchildren; Morgan, Tyler, Landon, Brady, Ember, Brantley, Alachi, Adiya, and Khloe. She also leaves behind her mother and four sisters. Debi was preceded in death by her father and husband. A private graveside service will be held for the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Southside Church of the Nazarene, 1901 S. 4th St., Terre Haute, IN 47802.
