Debra Sue Weir-Bemis

Debra Sue Weir-Bemis, 63 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Regional Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on November 22, 1957 to George F. Weir and Marie Hubbard Weir.

Debra is survived by her husband Danny Bemis and three children; Nicole Bemis, Tiffany Solano, and Zachary Bemis, as well as nine grandchildren; Madison Schell, Abigail Schell, Emmalin Schell, Lawrence Schell IV, Corey Schell, Delilah Schell, Vanessa Bemis, Luis Bemis, and Priya Bemis.  Also surviving are her brothers and sisters; Barbara Phelps, Donald Weir, Kenny Weir, Jack Weir ,Carolyn Huff, Charlie Weir, Vernon Weir, and Rick Weir, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Darlene Weir officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
