Della Rene (Hughes) Kane

Della Rene Kane, 58 of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on September 13, 1963 to Jerry Wayne Hughes and Pauline Kennard Hughes.

Della is survived by her husband David Kane, and her daughter Nancy Isham, as well as a step-daughter, Madalyn Lindsey.  She is also survived by two brothers, Cairy Oxendine and Frank Oxendine, two step-sisters, Kelly Oxendine and Kathy Oxendine, and two half-sisters, Breanna Hughes and Shania Hughes, as well as seven grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen with a Celebration of Life Service to be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church, 2500 E. Margaret Dr., Terre Haute, IN from 3:30 – 4:00 PM.  A dinner will be provided by the church immediately following the service.   Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Home.
