Delores June Crosby

Delores June "Dee" Crosby, 91, of West Terre Haute passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday August 26, 2017 in Cobblestone Crossing Health Care Center at Terre Haute. She retired as a Nurse after many years of service with several doctors offices in Terre Haute. She was born July 9, 1926 at Terre Haute to August Blanc and Dollie Myers Blanc. Her Husband Cliff Crosby Jr. whom she married on July 4, 1946 at West Terre Haute preceded her in death on December 14, 1997. Survivors include: a son and daughter in law Brian and Sherah Crosby; three daughters Sharon Stevens and her husband Matt, Mary Ann Donham, and Diane Fairbanks and her husband Scott; three sisters Janet Jones (Joseph), Marsha McLain (Richard), and Nancy Ferran (Jerry); a brother August Blanc (Nancy); twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Helen Judson and Augusta "Gussie" Jones. Dee enjoyed volunteering for the Helping Hands and attending the Highland Apostolic Church both in West Terre Haute. She loved her home and she enjoyed working in her yard keeping things trimmed up perfectly. She loved her little dog "Baby" and she loved her family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Koemmen breast cancer fund with envelopes available in the funeral home.
