Donald Ray Bosc

Donald Ray Bosc, 78, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, August 29th, 2024 peacefully at home. He was born August 1st, 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Raymond Bosc and Norma (Mullen) Bosc. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marion J. Bosc and her children, Rhonda and Stevie.

Donald graduated from Wiley High School in 1964, followed by Indiana Barber College in 1965. He joined the Indiana State Police in 1968, retiring as a Sergeant in 1998. From 1998 to 2009, he worked for Wabash Valley Asphalt. He was an avid outdoorsman, and a long time member of Brothers of the Woods (BOW). Since childhood, he loved spending time on the family land in Bull Skin, IL. For many years, he enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson. Most of all, he loved his family, his friends, and his garage. 

 Donald is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lee Bosc, his brother Michael Bosc (Kristi), his children Scott Bosc (Pam), Lisa McCalister (Alan), and Sara Posthumus (Samuel), his grandchildren David Sparks, Matthew Frederick (Caitlin), Michael Klitzing (Amber), Lucas Bosc, and Sophia Posthumus, and his great grandchildren Ryder Frederick, Madyson Frederick, and Emersyn Klitzing, and many nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be held Friday, September 6th, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, Donald requested donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
