Donald F Cuiksa

Donald F. Cuiksa, 74, of West Terre Haute passed away Sunday July 30, 2017. He retired as the electrical superintendant from Alcan Aluminum in 2000 after thirty two years of service. He was born September 28, 1942 in Martin's Ferry, OH to Frank A. Cuiksa and Helen Zorick Cuiksa. Survivors include: His Wife of fifty four years Nancy Marsh Cuiksa; two sons and daughters-in-law Bryan and Melissa Cuiksa and Michael and Wendy Cuiksa all of Terre Haute; a daughter Marcy Benefiel and her fiancé Jeff Boyd of Terre Haute; a sister Karen Adkins and her husband Larry of Hollywood, FL; six grandchildren Bethany Cuiksa of Las Vegas, NV, Hannah Lynch (Dylan), Clay Cuiksa (girlfriend Maycie), Blake Benefiel, Logan Benefiel, and Megan Benefiel all of Terre Haute; and a great grandson Ryan Cuiksa. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son Donnie Cuiksa. He enjoyed working outside, feeding the humming birds, golfing, and attending his grandchildrens sporting events. He coached North Terre Haute Little League Baseball and Vigo County Youth Football for many years. A private service was arranged with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or the Terre Haute Humane Society. Service and arrangements were entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
