Donna Faye (Roberts) Akers

Donna Faye Akers, 29 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at IU Methodist Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Terre Haute on July 6, 1990 to Pete Roberts and Kay Elkins Roberts.

Donna is survived by her parents, her husband Matt Akers and their three children; Kaelynn Lewis, Logan Roberts, and Brystol Akers.  Also surviving are three brothers; Zac Roberts (Kylee), Bryan Roberts, and P.J. Roberts, Jr. (Heather), and a sister, Betty Moss, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ted and Betty Elkins, and paternal grandparents Duke and Maxine Roberts.

Funeral services for Donna will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to help offset funeral expenses.
