Dora M. Mcgranahan

Dora M. McGranahan, 75, of Terre Haute passed away at 5:30 p.m. Monday June 26, 2017 in Signature Healthcare at Terre Haute. She was born July 1, 1941 in Vigo County, In. She was preceded in death by her father Orial Otto Stevens and by her mother Lena Tighe; her first husband, Jerry McGranahan; three brothers Joe Tighe, Tom Tighe, and Keith "Milo" Tighe; and a sister Dorothy Lowrey. Survivors include: ten siblings: Gene Tighe, Rowsetta Stevens, Orial Stevens, Sharon "Dolly" Criss, Jerry Stevens, Carol Johnson, Nina Tighe, Lena Long, James "Sonny" Tighe, and Cathy Tighe-Scott; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dora enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching tv, sitting in the sun, and occasionally "escaping" from the nursing home. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 5, 2017 in the Sun Room at Signature Healthcare, 3500 Maple Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47804 with Chaplain Alissa Williams officiating. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Signature Healthcare for the care they provided. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
