Dorothy "Dottie" (Turner) White

Dorothy “Dottie” White, 75 of West Terre Haute, a beautiful woman who was taken from this earth by an angel at 9:08 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Meadows Manor East.  She was born in Terre Haute on October 18, 1943 to Ira Bostic Turner and Emma Cox Turner.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Thomas J. White, Sr., whom she married May 12, 1963.  Also surviving are two children; Thomas J. White, Jr. (Debbie), and Cathy Hedges (Harry). In addition, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Thomas J. White, III, Jesse Padgett (Katie), Jacob Hedges (Sierra), Laura Wilson, Kara Zimmerman, Daniel Wilson, Ken Milner, Tera Montgomery, Jennifer Hedges, and Kelly Hedges, as well as 16 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, as well as one grandson, Kevin Heyen.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen, with no services scheduled.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
