Ellen Jane (Fyfe) (Montgomery) Leigh

Ellen Jane Fyfe Leigh , 81, of Terre Haute, passed away, June 18, 2019  at her home.

She was born February 20, 1938 in West Terre Haute to Lloyd Montgomery and Opha Chessire Montgomery.

Ellen enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and working puzzles. She loved to cook and raise kids.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah S Vermillion ( Stanley); a brother, Rick Montgomery (Pat); a sister, Rose Elkins ( Bob); her grandchildren, Ellen M Wilbur (Travis) and Jeffery A. Taylor (Amanda) and her great grandchildren; Terran C Chrisman, Victoria J. Chrisman, Natalie R. Tabor, Celeste A. Jones, William Barnhart, James Barnhart.

Services will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery with Pastor J.C. Neff officiating.
