Estella Marlene Britt

Estella "Marlene" Britt, 68, of West Terre Haute passed away at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday August 2, 2017 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. She retired as the receptionist at Cannon Inn in Terre Haute after many years of service. She was born July 31, 1949 in Anderson, IN to Harry Jewell and Betty Abolt Jewell. Survivors include: Her Husband, David "Bruce" Britt whom she married on August 19, 1966; a daughter Shantell Ketner and her companion Steve Flowers of West Terre Haute; a son Warren Britt and his wife Angie of Marshall, IL; five grandchildren Matthew, Dustin, Amber, and Cassie Ketner, and Morgan Britt; and eight great grandchildren Lailynn, Kiera, Alahna, Jaxsyn, Charlie, Emberlee, Arya, and baby Carson on the way. She was preceded in death by her father Harry Jewell and by her mother and step-father Betty and Orin Arney; and a son William Shannon Britt. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday.
