Esther Fay (Hoopingarner) Perry

Terre Haute

Esther Fay Perry, 76 of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12:20 AM in her residence.  She was born in Detroit, MI on April 7, 1942 to Everett Hoopingarner and Ruth June Rader Hoopingarner.

Fay is survived by three children;  Dee Dee, Michelle, and Jay (wife Melanie).  She is also survived by her sister Ruthie Cesinger (husband Errol), as well as five step-children;  Connie, Jacquita, Carol, Shirley, and John Albert.  Also surviving is an uncle, Norman Hoopingarner, niece and nephew Robin and Charles, and step-mother Daisy, 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, as well as her cat, “Indiana”.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Perry, son Troy Decker, and an infant sister, Barbara.

Funeral services will be at held Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM. With Rev. R.A. Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
