Floreine Rhyan

Floreine "Grandma Peachy" Rhyan, 98, of West Terre Haute passed away Thursday morning August 3, 2017 in her son's home. She was born August 23, 1918 in Terre Haute to Tom and Nancy Walters. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Rhyan. Survivors include: a son Paul Rhyan; two granddaughters Cindy Shaffer and her husband Steve, and Mandy Keith and her husband Jerry; six great grandchildren Sam Bowden, Alathia Bowden, Emily Shaffer, Rhyan Shaffer, Nate Keith and Morgan Keith; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son Don Rhyan. She was a lifetime member of the Trinity Church having been one of the original charter members to help establish the church. She loved to sew and crochet. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Burns officiating. Burial will be in Shepard Cemetery in Shepardsville. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday.
