Freda Irene Campbell

Freda Irene Campbell, 91, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024 in Harrison Crossing health campus. She was born on November 23, 1932 to Clifford and Beulah Wyrick in West Terre Haute. Freda married Wayne Campbell on December 31,1947. 

She was proceeded in death by an infant son, her husband, a brother, a sister, and a son-in-law. She is survived by sons Terry (Pam), Ray, and Rick, daughters, Phyllis Funkhouser (Verlin), Debbie Ellis and Lori Morris, also brother, Paul Wyrick (Barb) and a sister Doris Silcock, also surviving 10 grandchildren and several greats and great-great grandchildren.

Freda always had a garden and beautiful flowers; irises were her favorite. She was a good cook for her large family, a lot of ham and beans, chicken and noodles, pies, and coffee.

Keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen with private burial of remains in Bethesda Memorial Park on October 14, 2024 at 11:00 am. Fitzpatrick funeral home was entrusted with arrangements.
