Georgia Rose (Wood) Church

Georgia Rose Church, 75, of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Union Hospital.

She was born August 6, 1946 in Vigo County to Charles Edward Wood and Gertrude Leona Walker Wood.

Georgia enjoyed painting and making crafts. She was a past member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Chapter D Association.

She is survived by three children, Tracy Overstreet, Charlene Barnhart (Bill), and Daniel Johnson (Carlena). She is also survived by her sister, Cathy Lamb; her 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Georgia was preceded in death by per parents; her husband, Edward Andrew Church; her son, Jack E. Lawson; her grandson, Devon Johnson; and siblings, Edward Wood, Mary Jenkins, Betty Davis, Beverly Winkler, Sue Milton, Juanita Buchanan, and Henry Wood.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
