Gregory P. "Pork" Fields

Gregory P. Fields, 50 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2020 in his residence.  He was born in Terre Haute on November 28, 1969 to Clarence Fields and Nancy Raley Fields.

Greg was known by “Pork” to all his friends and family. He was a Laborer with Local # 204 and was an avid fisherman and loved the Cincinnati Reds.

Pork is survived by three daughters, Leigh Fields, Madalyn Fields, and Desi Dugger.  He is also survived by his siblings: Sherri Phillips (Jim), Mike Tewell (Chris), Brett Fields, Kim Cooper (Roger), Laura Perron, Kelly Wright, and Michelle Richards.  Other survivors include the beloved mother of Leigh and Madalyn, Denice Fields, and one grandson as well as several aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Fields, as well as his mother and step-father, Nancy and Everett Wright.  A private burial will occur at a later date in Livingston Cemetery.  Pork’s  girls’ welcome memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation or the Helping Hands of West Terre Haute.  Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN. was entrusted with care and arrangements.
