Harry Sell

On Friday, December 21st, 2018, Harry Sell, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 78. Harry was born on June 30th, 1940 in Pennsylvania but resided in West Terre Haute, IN. Harry served in the United States Armed Forces and then retired from Indiana State University. On October 29th,1965, he married Linda Lou Shattuck. They were married for 53 years and raised two sons, Jeff and Lance, and one daughter, Dusty.

Harry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He loved spending time with his wife outdoors, going camping and fishing. He was a kind hearted, mellow man who loved to listen to others.

Harry was preceded in death by his father, Harry Sr., and his mother, Ruth. He is survived by his wife Linda, his three children, Jeff and partner Ruth, Lance, Dusty and son-in-law Scott Klitzing and granddaughters, Courtney, Kaitlin, Brooklin, Ashlynn, a great grandson, Joshua, and several siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in West Terre Haute at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am – 2:00pm at the funeral home.  Flowers may be sent to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home at 220 N. 3rd St in West Terre Haute. Pastor Chris Wilbur and Frank Shattuck will be officiating; burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park.
