Helen Jean (Rotter) Rowley

Helen Jean Rowley, 89 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 4:20 PM on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus.  She was born in Racine, WI on August 14, 1931 to Joseph Rotter and Helen Davenport Rotter.

Helen was a switchboard operator for GTE and worked as a volunteer classroom grandma at Fuqua Elementary.  She was always there for her family and was a caretaker for everyone.

Helen is survived by her son Charley Rowley (Glenda), son-in-law, Max Zenor, and her grandchildren; Sara Chalos (Jake), Mandy Bales (Michael), Karen McDonald (Jesse), and Wayne Rowley (Kim), and great grandchildren; Kayla, Kevin, Ryan, Tori, Cory, Braxton, Madison, Colson, Lenabelle, Paisley, Ali, Paul and Max, and several great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Rowley, as well as her daughter, Mary Jo Zenor.

Private visitation services were held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.  Arrangements were entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
