Howard Lee Creasey

Howard “Lee” Creasey, 68, of West Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2019 in Union Hospital Emergency Room.

Lee was born April 7, 1950 in Terre Haute to Howard and Fairy Oxford Creasey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim “Crow” Creasey; sister-in-law, Kimberly Little; and grandson, Drew Bennett.

Lee is survived by his wife, Peggy L. Creasey; his children, Tom Creasey (Darla), Fred Creasey (Crystal), Crystal McCloud (Chad), Melissa Jones (Kyle) and Tyler Creasey (Brittanie); his siblings, Cathy Benjamin (Bob), Jane Johnston (Steve), Tim Creasey (Jackie), Teresa Myers (Doug), and Sam Creasey (Casey); his twelve grandchildren, Heath, Brian, Dakota, Alex, Michael, Chase, Cordell, Hannah, Hayden, Kyler, Hudson and Leela; great grandchild, Braxton; brothers-in-law, Ron Ramsey, Dale Ramsey and Jimmy Little;  and several nieces and nephews.

Lee was retired from Creasey Plastering, West Terre Haute. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #6574, Riley American Legion Post #328, West Terre Haute Young Men’s Club, and Montezuma Fish and Game Club.

Services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Wilbur will be officiating.
