Ill. Darrell Lee Williamson 33^, 86, of West Terre Haute formerly of Lebanon, IN and Rockville passed away at 1:01 p.m. Thursday November 17, 2016 in his home. He had been the owner and operator of Williamson Mechanical Contractors at Lebanon, IN for many years. He was born April 27, 1930 at Lebanon, IN to Ivan Williamson and Pauline Adams Williamson. He was preceded in death by his first wife Julia Ethridge Williamson and his second wife Jean Harvey. Survivors include: two sons David Williamson of Texas and Darryl Williamson of Arkansas; a brother Ivan Williamson of Tennessee; three grandchildren Jason Williamson, Misty Williamson and Dawn Hayes; and a great grandson Colton Hayes. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister Iwana Singleton; and a brother Kenneth "Gene" Williamson. Darrell had been the building superintendant for both Indiana State Teachers Association and Ivy Tech where he also served as an instructor. He was instrumental in the development of a forty two acre field into the Lebanon City Park and served as the first president of the Lebanon Park Board. He had been a very active member of the Zionsville Masonic Lodge No. 760, an Ill. 33^ Mason and member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, and the Royal Order of Jesters. He also served as the Exalted Ruler of the Lebanon Elks Lodge no 635. Services for Darrell will be 7:00 p.m. Monday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St. West Terre Haute with a Masonic Memorial Service by West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge No 687 F&AM followed by services with Rev. Donald Graham officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until service time Monday. There will also be a graveside service and burial at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Lebanon, IN.
