Jackie Lee Hayes

Jackie Lee Hayes, 69, passed away January 27, 2025 in Merrillville, Indiana. He was born April 15, 1955 in Clinton, Indiana to Donald Lee Hayes and Winifred Loretta Houston. Jack enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. His hobbies included making models and experimenting with his Erector set. Jack worked for various car dealerships in the Terre Haute area gaining the knowledge to become a self-employed mechanic. Jack is proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother in law Collin. He is survived by his brother, Shawn Hayes and sister, Deborah Lindsay, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Services for Jack will be Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1 PM in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885. Visitation is scheduled from 11 AM until service time in the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be in New Vermillion Cemetery. Pastor Carl Hedden will officiate.
