Jacqueline Karol West

Jacqueline Karol West, 58 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 in her residence. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 8, 1966 to Edward L. Britt and Jacqueline Britt.

Karol was an extremely loving person, and her children and grandchildren were her world.

Karol is survived by her two children, Hickori West (Heather), and James West (Hilary), and her four grandchildren; Haddilyn West, Dean West, Sage West, and Iris West. She is also survived by her sister, Kelli Brown (Paul) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jacqueline Britt, her grandmother Marjorie Richardson, siblings Kerri Driscoll and Edward K. Britt, as well as her loving dog, Bea.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Friends and family members may share memories about Karol from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Happy Tails Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 11433, Terre Haute, IN 47801, in Karol’s memory.
