James Lee Miller

James Lee Miller, 65, of West Terre Haute passed away at 8:00 a.m. Thursday November 17, 2016 in Westminister Vilage Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 24, 1951 in Terre Haute to Donald "Ozzie" Miller and Arlene Jones Miller. Survivors include: two daughters Jamie Miller and Jessica Miller; a sister Janice Miller; a brother Donald Miller; a grandson Parker Lee Johnson; an aunt Effie Miller; an uncle William Jones; and his k9 companion J. Edgar Hoover. He was preceded in death by his son, James Lee Miller II; his parents; and two brothers Mark Miller and Freddie Miller. He was a Vietnam War Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during which he served as a member of the military police. He enjoyed fishing, camping, Nascar racing and drag racing. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Coffman officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park with military graveside rites by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and prior to services Monday.
