Jerry Wayne Lyon II

Jerry Wayne Lyon II, 62 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 3:25 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in his residence.  He was born in Terre Haute on November 12, 1957 to Jerry W. Lyon and Beverly Toney Lyon.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked as a warehouse coordinator at Thyssenkrupp Presta.  He was an avid golfer and loved to spend time with his family, watch his grandchildren play ball, and horseback riding.

Jerry is survived by his wife Kimberly A. Corby Lyon, whom he married December 14, 1999, two daughters, Mandy Meehan (Shane), and Kristina Burger (Coty), his mother, Beverly Lyon, and three grandchildren; Abigail Meehan, Shane Meehan II, and Ella Meehan.  He is also survived by two brothers; Robert Lyon (Elana), and Bill Lyon (Mary), close friends Mike Pound and Danny Bogard, and his K-9 companion, Jack, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lyon, and grandmother, Thelma Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM, with Glen McClain officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
