John Albert Perry

John Albert Perry, 58, of Knightstown, formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Henry County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on July 4, 1966, to John Wesley Perry and Betty Ann McDonald Perry. John proudly served in the United States Navy and later dedicated his career to helping fellow veterans as an Advanced Medical Support Assistant with the Department of Veterans Affairs. A man of deep faith, he found joy in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, who sustained him throughout his life. He cherished time spent with his family, especially as a devoted grandfather, and enjoyed listening to Moody Radio Ministries. His greatest love, however, was being with his wife, Andrea. John is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Oliver Perry, and his five children: John Albert Perry II (Nicole), Gabriella Frizzi (Benjamin Thomas), Wesley Houston Perry (Kylie), Sacha Leigh Green (Garrison), and Michaela Dawn Perry. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: John Luc Perry, Arwen Perry, Logan Perry, William Green, Sloane Green, Tobias Thomas, and Taliesin Thomas. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Ann Spencer, his siblings: Jacquita Foster, Carol McConnell, Shirley Fry, and Jay Wesley Perry, as well as his mother-in-law, Sylvia Hendricks, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished pets. John was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Perry, and his siblings, Connie Coon and John Wesley Perry, Jr. A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s honor to Moody Radio Ministries.
