John Wm. Miller

John Wm. Miller, Sr., 81 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born in Terre Haute on July 12, 1942 to Frank Miller and Margaret Donham Miller.

John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shannon (McClintock) Miller, whom he married July 3, 1962 and his three sons; John Miller, Jr. (Kylissa), Tony Miller, and Tom Miller (Lori), his grandchildren; Chad Miller, Bryan Miller (Jamie), Madison Miller, Nicole Dunn, and Megan Atkinson, as well as one great granddaughter, Makenna Atkinson.  He is also survived by one brother, Ronnie Miller (Carol), two brothers-in-law, Wayne “Bud” McClintock (Betty), and John McClintock (Nancy), and a sister-in-law, Debby McFall (Dave), and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Frank, Bob, Don, and Ed Miller, Mary Elizabeth Miller, and Barbara Vacarello.

John was a retired truck driver for RBW and member of Teamsters Local # 135.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Keith McIntyre officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Providence Food Pantry, 707 National Ave., West Terre Haute, IN 47885 or the Helping Hands, 960 National Ave., West Terre Haute, IN 47885, in his memory.
