John Richard Tevlin

John Richard Tevlin, 77 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:05 AM on Monday, September 21, 2020 in his residence.  He was born in Vigo County on December 23, 1942 to James R. Tevlin and Grace V. Trader Tevlin.

John loved horses and owned several throughout his life, and was a member of the Oliver, IL Trailriders’ Club, but more than anything, he loved his family.

John is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Whitesell Tevlin, and one daughter, Pamela Weger (Rich Bridgewater).  Also surviving is a son-in-law, Perry Shelton, as well as thirteen grandchildren, thirty-eight grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by tw children, John Richard Tevlin, Jr. and Janet Flowers.

Private graveside services will be held at Pleasantview Cemetery on Thursday, September 24, 2020.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
