Johnny Wayne Vaughn

Johnny Wayne Vaughn, 49 of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022, along with his daughter Raya Vaughn in a tragic accident.  He was born in Terre Haute on March 7, 1973, to Jimmy Vaughn, Sr. and Dorothy Lanning Vaughn.

Johnny is survived by his wife Angela Finney Vaughn and two daughters Shay’lynn Vaughn (James Bolton), and Destinee LeMoine (Austin), his mother, Dorothy Vaughn, and his grandchildren; Jaylynn Bolton, Bentley LeMoine, Addalynn LeMoine, and Brylee LeMoine.  Also surviving is his brother, Jimmy Vaughn, Jr. (April), his niece Shalee Greene, and his nephews Jimmy Vaughn, Austin Jones, Mason Bennett (Summer), Kaleb Stephens, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marylou and Mick Finney, as well as two brothers-in-law, Travis Jones (Amber), and Matt Swayzee.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Raya Hope Vaughn, his father Jimmy Vaughn, Sr., and sister Stella Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:0 PM, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
