Kaleb Scott “Buddy” Long, 24, of West Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 in Terre Haute. He was born in Morristown, TN on November 25, 1998 to Jeffery Long and Tracy Bennett-Camp.
Kaleb was a bricklayer with BAC Local # 4 and enjoyed fishing and loved riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, bicycling and skateboarding, spending time with his family and friends, but his babies were his world.
Kaleb is survived by his wife Heather Long and their two sons, Hunter and Hayden. He is also survived by his parents, Jeff Long (Tanya) and Tracy Bennett-Camp (Mark), four sisters; Ashley Haase, Alexia Calton, Stacy Vinardi (Kevin), Kathryn Rader (Brett), two step-siblings; Alyssa Korte (Logan), and Dakota Camp (Taylor), his grandparents, Patricia Long, Kathy Bennett, Donna Rader (Den), and Nina Camp, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rae Lynn and Jeff Prouse, grandparents-in-law, Sharon and Raymond Stuck, his aunts and uncles, Amy and Robby Bonner, Angela and Harvey Barnhart, Gary Long, Zaun and Kylie Myers, his best friend, Robert Dickerson, and special family members Shaun and Ali Rader. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by an unborn child, grandparents; Ken Bennett, Mike Long, Gerald Rader and Betsy Harlow, as well as his sister, Chelsea Long.
Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, June 23, 2023. Visitation is scheduled on Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home, with cremation to follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund established for his sons, C/O of First Financial Bank.
