Karlos "Karl" Certain

Karlos “Karl” Certain, 81 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the Waters of Greencastle.  He was born in Terre Haute on October 18, 1940 to James Karlos Certain and Mae B. Fagg Certain.

Karl was a Marine Corps Veteran having served in Viet Nam.  He was a member of Rosedale American Legion Post # 290, West Terre Haute VFW Post # 6574, and AMVETS Post # 222.

Karl is survived by his daughter Cheryl Certain, his sister, Maria Certain Brush, special nephew Thomas Swiger, and his K-9 companion, Pixie.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandra Kay Niece, as well as two brothers, Tom Swiger and Chuck Morris, and a sister, Karlene Nenneman.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 5:00 PM.  Burial will follow on Tuesday in Adkins Cemetery near Rosedale.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 3:00 PM until time of service in the funeral home.
